Libro.uz Refund Rules

Version 1 of 2 November 2026.

1. General Provisions

1.1. The Rules are part of the Public Offer of Billy's School LLC (hereinafter - the Operator) and determine when and how the Buyer can obtain a refund for Access to an E-book on the libro.uz Platform.

1.2. An E-book is not transferred to the Buyer as a file, so a refund terminates Access: the book disappears from the "My library" section on all devices, including copies saved for offline reading.

1.3. Terms are used in the meaning specified in the Public Offer.

2. When a Refund Is Possible

A refund for a book is possible if all three of the following conditions are met:

  1. No more than 24 hours have passed since payment.
  2. Less than 10% of the book has been read. The percentage is determined from the Reader's data on the furthest point read across all devices of the Account.
  3. The Buyer has not previously returned this book. The same book can be returned only once; if it is purchased again after a return, it is not refundable.

While these conditions are met, the "Return this book" item is available in the book menu in "My library", showing the time until which the book can be returned.

3. Pre-order

3.1. Before the book's release, the Buyer may cancel the Pre-order and obtain a refund at any time.

3.2. After the book's release, the general conditions of Section 2 apply, but the 24 hours are counted not from the moment of payment but from the moment Access opens (the book's release).

3.3. If the book's release is canceled or postponed by more than 30 calendar days from the announced date, the Buyer is entitled to a refund regardless of the other conditions by writing to office@hrtest.uz.

4. What Is Not Refundable

  • books received as a gift with a Gift Code;
  • books received free of charge or at a discount with a Promo Code or in promotions;
  • books for which more than 24 hours have passed since payment (for a Pre-order - since the book's release) or of which 10% or more has been read;
  • books that the Buyer has already returned before;
  • unactivated Gift Codes after they have been passed on to the recipient;
  • Access terminated due to blocking of the Account for violation of the User Agreement.

5. How a Refund Works

  1. The Buyer clicks "Return this book" in the book menu in "My library" and confirms the return.
  2. The Platform immediately checks the conditions of Section 2. If they are met, the return is registered and Access to the book is terminated on all devices.
  3. An Operator employee manually processes the refund through the payment system (Payme, Click or Uzum) that was used for payment. Money is refunded by the same method that was used for payment, in full, without deduction of fees.
  4. The Operator transfers the money within 25 working days from the moment the return is registered. The time for crediting the card depends on the bank and the payment system.

If the Operator violates the time limit under item 4, it pays a penalty of 1% of the refund amount for each day of delay, but not more than the refund amount (Art. 27 of the Law "On Electronic Commerce").

6. Book Defects and Erroneous Charges

The time limits and conditions of Section 2 do not apply, and the money is refunded or the book is replaced, at the Buyer's choice, if:

  • the book does not open or opens with errors, and support was unable to fix the problem within 5 working days;
  • the content of the book materially does not match the description on its page (a different work, language or translation, or an incomplete text);
  • money was charged, but Access did not open;
  • money was charged twice for one order;
  • Access was terminated at the request of the Rights Holder or a government authority (clause 2.5 of the Public Offer).

In these cases, the Buyer writes to office@hrtest.uz and attaches the order number and, if available, a screenshot of the error.
